How can I learn more about the DreamMaker Program or a specific Project?

In order to learn more about the components of the D&F Academy DreamMaker please click on the Program heading at the top of the page. You will find descriptions about the next projects under the heading Upcoming Projects. In addition take a look at our previous projects for further insight.

How many hours per week does the project work take?

A D&F Academy project is an intense experience. During the Challenge Phase most days of the week will be spent full time in the three courses: ChallengeLab, DreamLab and MediaLab. Often, there will be sessions during the weekends as well. There are a few completely free weekends during every project, and if you wish, you can use these to explore and go on trips.

For the 10-month Implementation Phase, Fellows return to their home countries after completing the Challenge Phase and implement their own ventures. During the Implementation Phase many Fellows work full time or half time on their venture implementation, we expect our Fellows to spend at least twelve hours per week on DreamPlan implementation and participating in the online learning program.

Will I receive academic credit for the project?

Each college and university has its own rules and policies for crediting programs that are not part of their own curriculum, so you must inquire into your university's policy. However, please keep in mind that we are not offering degree-based programs, and are not an accredited academic institution. Our projects are prestigious, unique and highly beneficial experiential learning experiences. Upon successful completion of the one-year program we will provide you with a certificate of participation, which you can present to your university or future employers.
