D&F Academy Hamburg - A place for learning and inspiration
In January 2012, the D&F Academy in Hamburg, Germany, opened as the first permanent learning space for the DreamMaker Program. Aside from the D&F administration offices, the Academy comprises a large creative teaching space, flexible enough to host all three yearly projects that take place in Hamburg.
The D&F Academy also opens its doors to the interested public by hosting cultural events, such as film screenings and discussions.
Whether for Fellows and Friends, participants of a cultural event, or for our frequent visitors, the D&F Academy is a friendly and open space, created with one main goal in mind: to enable exciting people to meet and inspire each other in a creative and open atmosphere.
The D&F Academy Hamburg is located in the Hafencity, in a heritage-protected former industrial building, which used to host the Hamburger Gummi-Kamm-Compagnie.
The historic red brick building was erected between 1902 and 1906 and is situated close to the waterfront and near the International Maritime Museum Hamburg.
